Nothing particularly special or groundbreaking here, photographically speaking.

I took this photo because I noticed the light was gentle and pleasing around the mantelpiece clock.  I like the result.

Ironically, I had gone out to photograph prior to this and walked around for several hours, but I wasn’t inspired to take a single photo.

Actually, this is a portrait for the school memory book, since there won’t be a conventional yearbook this year.

Taken quickly this evening after dinner, before the light completely faded.

1/125  |  f/2  |  ISO 400; pushed 2.5 stops during post-processing.

(as for the braces, that makes 3 for 3 kids now)
