Luiz Paulo featured in British Journal of Photography.

Inspiration, Q&A

I am pleased to announce that Luiz Paulo, who’s outstanding photography has been shared on this very site, has been featured in the British Journal of Photography.

It’s a very poignant interview and the images on display do not include Luiz‘s beloved muse:  his daughter.  To find out why, and to view his images, please have a look here.

    Congratulations Luiz.

The meanderings through Sao Paulo are wonderful! Even though they reflected your mood at the time and are not of your favorite subject…they are you. And I can see you in these images, with the benefit of seeing your past work.

Can I just add one thing in reference to Abbas’s comment….. “I think Luis has a future in photography…….” He’s just confirming what we here, have known all along 😉 (though his opinion carries a bit more weight than ours :-))

So keep that the camera out Luiz and show the world a bit more of yourself.

Thank you Andrew! I’ll try to follow your advice and turn on my camera more often. You always have good predictions hope you’re right one more time. 🙂

    Congratulations, Luiz.

My own daughter did not grow up 1000 miles away, only about 100 (and what fault there is in that is mine). I did not fly, but drove, every other weekend down and back, down and back. That I did not attempt the chronicle that you have is to confess more, I think, than a lack of talent, but it also explains, in part, why your guest posts here have been of such impact for me.

These Sao Paulo shots confirm the talent and the heart behind it. My best wishes and heartfelt thanks.

Thank you Greg. I was unaware of your story… what surprise. The distance is an issue certainly but the worst would the hearts being distant. Your driving back and down constantly just says per se. My chronicle is a silent call to change the story, and that occurs of getting a few good pictures by chance I guess… My best wishes to you too.

Once again, thank you Peter for sharing your thoughts and your site to display my pictures. Hope one day do the same for you. I’m sincerely grateful.
