  1. Now that’s a superb portrait.

    • True story: I almost lost this roll.

The Patterson reel I was spooling the film on jammed and after a series of unfortunate events became warped and unusable. I was trapped with my arms in the changing bag, so I had to call my wife to bring me a second reel. With her help, I was able to “sneak” the new reel into the bag. Until the film was developed, I had no idea whether the images had become exposed or severely scratched/damaged.

Thank you for your kind words.

Looks uncannily like my father looked!

  4. A portrait with impact, great work.

  5. Your best portrait yet, and beautiful B&W rendering.

Reminds me of some of the David Douglas Duncan portraits of Picasso…….
