Hi Peter, another gorgeous photo, congratulations!
I follow your blog for quite sometime now and noticed that lately skin tones and tonal variations in general are much more natural, is this because of this undisclosed camera and lens and / or have you changed your workflow?
Anyway, keep up these photo “Little moments”, their a refreshing part of the day 🙂
Thank you Pedro, and I’m glad you noticed the skin tones. This was actually a challenging situation because it contains mixed lighting and the orange of the sweater was reflecting upward.
Since I photograph mostly people, I am very aware of skin tones and will avoid cameras that present a challenge to producing a natural look.
To answer your question, my workflow hasn’t changed much… in fact, I continue to minimize my post-processing.
I’ve started to notice the diference since early November, so you reckon it’s due to camera and lens change?
Hum, you are getting very good results, is it the Voigtlander 58mm?
Pedro, perhaps I can direct you to this post from a few days ago?:
Its not very common to ear that one is satisfied with whatever he’s shooting and I’m sure a lot of people would like to feel that way but hasn’t reached that point yet.
I’m glad for your state and thankful for having the opportunity to enjoy your photos. Thank you!
Thank you for understanding Pedro.
Wonderful image: I note the exercise in geometry is seen, in perfect placement …
Thank you Sean… it’s all about patience, patience…
