In my estimation, Thypoch has out-Leica-d Leica.

These third party lenses are prolific now. When I was last engaged in photography some years ago these names didn’t exist. Now there are loads of them and at incredible value! I haven’t used any of them yet, though plan to.
Yes, the landscape has changed. Voigtlander/Zeiss used to be the main alternatives but now there’s a wealth of choices.
I’ve had experience now with two Thypoch lenses, this one and the Eureka 50 f/2. Both are beautifully built and render wonderfully. Highly recommended Andy.
