I’m getting a few emails about this camera. There is no secret place to find these. You will sporadically find them in all the sorts of places. I purchased mine off of eBay after an exhaustive search. It was a gamble. Since many owners of previous M film cameras have – quite frankly – abused them, it’s getting more and more difficult to find them in this condition. I am happy to say that I will look after this one.
If you do find a truly mint M2 or M3, be prepared to pay dearly for it. In my case, I had recently sold ALL of my Nikon gear, which helped make the purchase possible.
Peter -thanks for a detailed response. I agree with all the points you made about scarcity and high prices for pristine condition ones.
Good luck taking pictures with it and have fun! I hope you hold on to this one forever!

My M3 here has almost doubled in price in 3 years and only bettered by the Pakon F135 scanner I use which has more than doubled if fact tripled over 4 years
The first M10 will be half price in 2 years my guess. FILM so good.
