I’ve always contended that the 1957 M3 was the pinnacle, but I must confess it’s nice to have the M with the best frame lines. As for the film loading, most prefer the fast-loading type that came with the M2-R (and M4 and subsequent Ms) but I am one of those Luddites that loves the more primitive spool method found in M3s and M2s.
