Hi Peter,
I see you found time to visit NYC with the family – that’s great. I pass through GCT everyday and recognized the place instantly. I hope you guys enjoy your time in the Big Apple. Please let me know if you need some suggestions from a local “guide”.
Feel free to contact me via my personal email.

Thank you Dimitry, that is very kind of you!
It was a whirlwind trip where we stayed just one night, so we spent our time walking around seeing as much as possible. I will certainly keep you in mind if we travel there again… it’s such a great city. Thank you again for your generosity.
Wonderful image. Wonderful title. Grand Central Station is an astonishingly beautiful place. Most transit places are, even if the architecture isn’t as Grand. It’s the people and the meet ups and the good byes and the suspended time and lives in transition. Thanks for a beautiful image which brings me back to a very familiar and well traveled place….
Hi Karen! Thank you so much for commenting!
You are so right, this place is a crucible for meet-ups and goodbyes… photographic nirvana for me. However, as always, my time was limited as I was traveling with my family.
Also, it may not be apparent in the image above, but it’s really dark inside the terminal. I wish I could do a photo session there with some lighting (or better yet, lucky placement of subjects on patches of natural window light… but that would involve a lot of time waiting for the right moment).
As it happens, I consider myself luck to have captured these two in an obviously very happy moment.
