Peter, cool take on a self portrait. I like the mystery and way you have used the negative space. I was curious as to why you left the right edge with the highlights of outside? For me, it feels a lot stronger with that cropped out? Great to continue to see your work! Hope your summer is going well.

As for your question, I don’t know. I just liked the composition this way (makes your brain have to work a little, I think). Btw, the sky outside was as featureless as you see in the photo… it was an overcast day.
