I think the aspect ratio is challenging, but nevertheless not inappropriate for this composition. If I were to crop the top third, it would not be because of the tall frame. It would only be to keep the frame more simple.
Thank you Karim, but I find the top 1/3 completes the image for me. Without it, I sincerely believe the image would be greatly diminished.

This is a masterpiece and the top third brings life and tension! I can look at it on and on and never get bored!
Art sometimes “seperates the men from the boys”…just a little provocation with a friendly twinkling eye! 😉
