Sony RX100, revisited.

Inspiration, Q&A, Sony RX100

Sony RX100

Almost a year ago, my wife took this image with her Sony RX100 (Mark 1) and I processed the RAW file.

This week we had a large print of it made and upon close inspection I’ll be damned if I can see a difference in quality between this and other images I’ve created with the Leica M9 and Nikon D810 (LOL, perhaps I don’t know what I’m doing…).

I agree completely with your comments. My wife uses the RX100 v3 which I had bought for my own everyday use, and unless I am using my 1.2 Nokton or 1.5 Sonnar wide open I become jealous of her results as she uses it as a point and shoot. She doesn’t know her aperture from her shutter speed and the camera is brilliant. I feel just like you with my M9 & M6 and range of 21mm -135 Leica, Zeiss and Voigtländer lenses. Never have I felt so robbed!
