Thanks Dave. The WB was set during post-processing of the RAW files because, as you point out, the lighting in hockey arenas is dreadful.
That’s what I mean. Even this one made with your Nikon that slightly right or left centered is peculiar of rangefinders due to parallax.
In actuality, rangefinder shooters tend to center their subjects because of the center focus patch. Parallax is only an issue at close distances.
I agree with Dave….hockey rink lighting is devilish. This image is angelic. Angels in hockey uniforms and action? Fantastic!
Your sight must be done for rangefinders…telling that because the framing.

Actually I don’t worry much of that; just some of my portraits are uncentered. I like them though
