No sir. Rangefinders are my preferred cameras.
Great job handling the tough lighting in those dim hockey rinks. The white balance for me is always all over the place.
Thanks Dave. The WB was set during post-processing of the RAW files because, as you point out, the lighting in hockey arenas is dreadful.
That’s what I mean. Even this one made with your Nikon that slightly right or left centered is peculiar of rangefinders due to parallax.
In actuality, rangefinder shooters tend to center their subjects because of the center focus patch. Parallax is only an issue at close distances.
Actually I don’t worry much of that; just some of my portraits are uncentered. I like them though
I agree with Dave….hockey rink lighting is devilish. This image is angelic. Angels in hockey uniforms and action? Fantastic!
