A rare and very welcomed burst of light in February (this was photographed earlier today).
(Technical: The white paper my daughter was writing on accidentally but conveniently served as a reflector.)

Lovely. Accidental and convenient it may have been, but I’d be willing to bet it was exactly how the paper added light to H’s face that drew you to make the image in the first place. I won’t belabor the composition, but the square frame seems to be suiting your eye, don’t you think?
You are correct Greg, that light did indeed get my attention. However, I must confess I had it in mind to create this image when I realized “the brushing” was going to take place.
As for the square frame, I had always assumed I would be neutral to it, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the fact that I am enjoying it.
This is really nice, I’m glad the Autocord worked out. I like seeing what it can do in your hands. I’ve always been a really big fan of the square format, too. Takes me a while to get used to composing in it though.
Thanks Jordan. The Autocord was a curious choice for me. I’m still trying to figure it out, but I am in no rush (just enjoying the ride).
Loving the images coming from the Autocord! Seems it was worth the effort to get it working.
