I have just had exactly this kind of day although I wasn’t playing basketball. Wonderful interpretation of this little/big moment and an opportunity to put it all into a more universal perspective. The basketball player missed his or her shot. The photographer nailed it from outside the three point circle. The basketball player will have another chance. Not so much for the photographer. Well done.
Sorry Karen that you had this kind of day. I was having a similar day… perhaps this entire month. Fortunately, all I needed was my iPhone and one attempt to nail this shot. I’m constantly amazed at how everyday life serves up its inspirations, if we look for them.
