I am too much of an amateur to know why…but film just looks great…even after scanning.
Film images, even when scanned, retain a unique look that I find more pleasing than digital. You may modestly describe yourself as an amateur, but you can discern the difference (some can’t). Thanks for the comment John.

Awesome photo! I’m venturing into film myself. I have always loved the images looked in film and of thed anticipation of having them developed. In a few weeks I will have hopefully learned to develop my own film after taking a class. Your photos are wonderful.
