Summer Solstice Soul Still.

“Life goes on and on
Like your favorite song
If we could find a way
If you would only stay
If we could hold on to this feeling
And this beautiful day”

—Brian Wilson, This Beautiful Day.

This portrait was created less than 48 hrs ago on the evening of June 21 — the Summer Solstice.

The longest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere, but it also represents the end of spring.

As you can see, the light was fantastic.

The inexorable march to darkness,

and madness,

begins

now.

Peter, very nice image… love the bokeh. Could you share what your f-stop, shutter speed and ISO settings are? I always like the skin tones in your images. Did you do much post processing. Knowing you, I suspect not.
