National Geographic level stuff. Most of your photos are above the NG standard, this one is right on the baseline. And that’s pretty damned high. What many viewers who are not photographers will notice, but not think about, is that you got on the subject’s level. It isn’t always compulsory to do so but it probably was for this composition.
Focus is bang on – if it was even slightly off, you couldn’t show the photo. But there’s a trade-off for living dangerously, right? 🙂
