It is sometimes/often miraculous how you get the right moment for those interactions!..the backlight intensifies the gesticulation; Peter, again congratulation!
Thank you very much Andreas. Photographically speaking, I live for moments like this.
Stunning Peter. This is my second favourite of this series behind the handshake! How are you enjoying the Monochrome this time around?
Thank you Andy. I’m really enjoying the Monochrom this time. As far as I can tell, it’s mostly because I’ve been shooting with a colour filter. Previously, I didn’t bother.
By the way, if you like the handshake shot, I’ve got a different (and Monochrom-taken) version you might like. I’ll probably post it later this week.
Look forward to seeing it! What filter are you using? Yellow or Orange filter? I think or fairly certain not red as these do not seem overly done on the contrast front.
Exclusively yellow. Which shouldn’t make a big difference, so – who knows? – maybe I finally clicked with the Mono for other reasons, unbeknownst to me.
Top class photojournalism. As usual. 🙂 The backlighting helps make this shot.
Thank you Karim. Speaking of photojournalism, I would love to be let loose on the streets of some exotic locale with my camera.
Just superb!
Thank you Aivaras.
I’m in awe with this shot, this moment. Thank you Peter!
