  1. I like the photo (subject, composition, moment, etc.) – just not the framing. For some reason the empty space at the right does not do it for me. It was obviously deliberate, so I have to take your word for it that you felt it was the right thing to do. 🙂

      1. That was not my impression. But I’ve seen countless photos where two or more elements were in harmony. E.g. HCB’s photo of the man leaping a puddle. Or, more recently, Thorsten Overgaard’s photo called ‘Shadowlands’. I’ve taken a few like that myself, and only noticed the parallels while editing.

        One thing I love about photography is its serendipitous nature. Photography Proper is about finding, not making.
