The last hurrah for Summer.

The Log Ride at Centre Island, Toronto.  Taken yesterday.

It pains me to see summer slipping away.  But it pains me more to think that this may have been the last year the kids will want to go to this place.  They’re getting bigger, and the rides are looking smaller.

Time marches on.

The last hurrah for Summer

  1. With a six year old son, I can understand your emotion, this is the way of the world… winter has its exciting times: My son Jonas told me yesterday, the season he likes best is the winter: he can go to a indoor swimming pool and also go outside and sled and enjoy the snow- that´s are kids …. I´m happy and feel blessed to live with four seasons! 🙂

To everything there is a season:

Peter, one day you will come back to this place.. perhaps grayer, perhaps a little bent posture….a child pulls your hand and screams: come on grandpa, I want to ride! 🙂 ….
