Power was restored to our home last night. Good thing, as the temperature inside the house had dropped to 4C.
Just under 200,000 homes (approximately 500,000 people) remain without power this morning and colder temperatures are on the way.

Good to hear you have electricity and heating back, and I hope that there is some quick resolution for the people that still suffer.

If power had not been restored at our house, we would have had to leave… unfortunately, many family this Christmas here in Toronto will be in that position.

Over here in HK, I have not experienced this kind of power off before. I guess it is really scary and sometimes, I feel that it is a calling for us to cherish preserve what we had because we usually would have taken everything for granted.
