Editor’s Note:
Hugues Faye is both a dear friend and an inspirational photographer whom I greatly admire. In fact, Hugues was the first featured photographer on Prosophos.com, and I am fortunate — once again — to be hosting his work.

“Dear Peter ,
I take the initiative to write to you! I had in the past, a great pleasure and a great honor to be represented on your website… the same site that was always for me a real source of inspiration and air a large bowl fresh in my day!
So today, a great desire fills my whole being, to share you (and for those who will be brought also look) of these images, which represent many of my little walks on Sunday Paris!
I have short, but one last thing! I am pleased to have crossed your path… because many things have changed in my life since…
Thank you very much Peter, for everything “bad” that you give yourself, as a presenter of quality and generosity every day on your beautiful site!
The images you’ll find are made using a Leica Monochrom and 50mm Noct 0.95, 50mm Summicron and 35mm Summilux fle…
PS: I had a great pleasure and an honor to meet a great man and a great photographer and his fiancee… I called our dear Ashwin and “J”!
Little nod to them as well –
Best regards.

Dear Andrew,
it is always a lot of fun … I read one of your comments!
I am delighted to share some of my pictures on the beautiful site of our friend Peter!
So it is with humility and great pleasure that I discovered that “my style” can inspire some people … and not just any, but “some” Andrew, I particularly respect the evolution in our passion that is photography!
Thank you again for your support!
Warm regards.
Hugues.

thank You very much for stoping by here, and for your comment !
soon.
Hugues.
As always, gorgeous and inspiring photos Hugues…
(…Now if only we lived in Paris!)
M.
Dear Mark,
know that you can live anywhere in the world … “things” are the most valuable and will always be by your side, in this case your beautiful family is all Paris the world.
In any case thank you for your much appreciated message!
Happy New Year to you and the whole family!
Hugues.
A magical city…..magically represented.
And I wholeheartedly second Mark’s comment about living in Paris!!
Hello Kevin,
thank you for this message! It is true that Paris is a very photogenic city … I take this opportunity to the maximum, even if the time is limited!
But in the end, we see more or less all Paris the same way, which does not mean that we look the same way things around us … and especially that one photograph with the same sensitivities …
This is what makes the photography is amazing and very evocative of who we are in the final ….
Best regards.
Hugues.
Cinematic, Hughes! Each image has a story that vibrates in my heart.
Great work.
Dear Michael,
I am very happy to read your message … I remember that you had left me on my first post here, there a few months ago and it was very touched me …
Thank you for having used the term “Cinematic”, especially that you have enjoyed the atmosphere of this set of images …
Another big thank you Michael!
Happy New Year to you and your whole family!
Warm regards.
Hugues.
Lovely set of images my dear Hugues. I like the exploration of the vertical format. I’m always trying to push myself to explore it further. Even if I find it not really handy for web purposes, it’s a monitor fault :-). I’m looking forward to seeing part 2-3…
PS: a warm regard to you Peter, you are always a source of inspiration
M.
Dear Matteo,
beautiful surprise! I did not expect to see you here!
I see that we visit “places” to discover absolutely! The website of Peter, which for me is a must … not as beautiful images that can be discovered only by courtesy and etiquette Peter!
Thank you very much for your message gave me the greatest pleasure!
Hoping that you take a little time for you and photography!
Ciao Ciao.
My warmest regards
Hugues.
Mon cher Peter,
it is with great emotion that I thank you for this “hospitality” so generous …
I wish you to know that I am very proud that some of my images to be present and appear on the PROSOPHOS site, which for me is a great honor as I respect your photography! And the feelings it conveys …
I wish to thank you once again from the bottom of my heart!
Your friend.
Hugues.
Some truly beautiful imagery here. I am particularly drawn to the Belle a la Balustrade!
Hello Hatem,
for the “story”, I walked that day as I usually …
When suddenly I see in the distance a “professional” photographer, with a Hassy HD4, and this young woman on the balcony … I took my courage in both hands and I am a bit embedded in the decor … I had time I take 3-4 photos …
And here is the result.
Thank you for your comment!
Warm regards.
Hugues.
So well captured. And thanks Hugues for sharing the story behind the picture.
Warm regards
Hatem
