I have a “real” answer :).
I like the concept of it, but as I wrote to a dear friend who asked me the same question:
“The M Monochrom looks good… if funds weren’t an issue, I’d get it, but I wouldn’t mistake it as a film-replacement device… The look is still – decidedly – digital.”
Understood and agree. Personally, I wouldn’t mind attaining a film M camera but the processing, scanning, etc. is a hurdle I am not sure I am ready to work through. But, oh the results…your images bear that out.
