I actually have Banksy’s Balloon Girl as a large tattoo on my left leg to remind me that I survived a broken childhood by holding onto hope. This photo is fantastic, by the way. I love how the woman holding the sign appears to be holding onto whatever hope she has left.
The word “iconic” is overused, but Balloon Girl is truly iconic. Also, thank you for your kind comment regarding the photo.
