Wonderful evocative images, even if nobody likes these gloomy winter days! Very well captured. I feel that the Z 40 f/2 has something special about it that I already noticed in many of your earlier postings.

In all seriousness, I really do appreciate the size but also the rendering, which has a je ne sais quoi quality about it. It’s sharp enough but not brutally so. It’s smooth in its out of focus areas, but not too smooth. I like it. If I could only choose one lens to shoot with in the Z system, this one would be it.
