Hi Peter. I have been meaning to comment on your photojournalism of the Ukraine rally. I like the series of photos, particularly because you did a good job of capturing the emotion of the moment. The photo of Putin was interesting and seemingly penetrated the rally. I see that you are enjoying your Leica M-E.
Thanks George! I was there for about 30 min. That Putin poster was being held by a man (he is completely hidden behind it) walking quickly by me, so the moment was more dynamic than the image suggests. As you imply, it had a striking effect as it wound its way through the rally.
