Hey Peter! I’m sorry for not commenting much lately, very busy on the home front. I like what you are capturing with the film stuff. I’m kind of not a huge fan of film, my own personal bias, but your eye always catches the composition and moments really well. I did just pick up the voigtlander 40mm 1.2 for my Nikon Z cameras. I’m really impressed, even after one day. I still have a 58mm 1.4 and the 28mm f2. If you want or need to borrow either of those, I’d send them up to you.

    • Hey Dave, glad you’re out there still shooting!

Based on previous comments of yours, I already knew that you’re not a huge fan of film (though I’m not entirely sure why, ha ha) but I appreciate you taking the time to write such a nice comment.

The Voigt 40/1.2 and any Z camera make an excellent pair – I’ve seen images created with the combo that are really wonderful. I was tempted to get the same lens for my film shooting but decided the small size of the 40/1.4 made more sense on the M2-R… besides, the little Nokton has always been good to me.
