Just as Mark knows how to use film’s texture, you know very well how to make images that are as pleasing as they are clean. A lot of people have a pathological fixation with processing, but you simply bring out what is already there to make a photo fresh and vibrant. Others just make their images heavy and aesthetically odious.
Thank you Karim. I actually work really hard to keep things simple.
I now look back at my earlier images (some of which continue to be appreciated by others) and cringe at the attempts at post-processing.
