    What’s the smallest number of elements you can have in a composition? Some would say one, but in many cases, two is more realistic. You have a subject (Honey), and you have a contiguous background (snow). And it works beautifully.

    I love the soft light, caused by the sky and the ground in this case. Who needs a studio? Nature does everything better than we do. 😉

    Interesting philosophical question you pose.

    The composition is usually the third consideration for me. However, it is without a doubt essential and if I cannot “solve” the composition problem I often won’t even take the photo.

    My second consideration is light.

    My first consideration is emotion – the subject’s, mine, or a combination of the two.
