Maybe I’m seeing things but only the M9 can take a shot like this. And I’m not talking about the composition, or the discrete nature of the camera. That texture – perhaps not as crunchy as an interpositive film print – is something I don’t think I will see from a CMOS. Either way, it is a nice photo, but the M9 does add that little something extra IMO.

I’ve been trying to say that very same thing… for YEARS. But most people don’t see it, so I’m labelled a kook, a crank, a relic.
Peter, you remind us how nicely the CCD can faithfully render beautiful light on nice skin. So real, so lovely you can almost touch it.
