Exquisite. Another of your classic portrait compositions. I especially like here how the lighter out-of-focus area to the left of the predominantly low key figure balances the whole. Really beautiful.
Oh, my. This is wonderful. Very ‘Dutch’. What a shame we can’t see this in higher resolution.
P.S. If there is such a thing as exposure that’s above perfect, you have discovered it. To quote the gangster in the Bugs Bunny cartoon, “I don’t know how you’s done it… BUT I KNOW YOU’S DONE IT!”
