  1. And so another year is nearly gone. Throughout, like the umbrella positioned above in this image, your blog with all it’s images of family and community life with their consistent, but often almost unnoticed artistic aesthetics, have provided a shelter from the sadness and stresses this increasingly difficult world seems to throw at us every day.

Thank you, Peter. I remain always grateful, if only through the internet, to be able to call you my friend. My fond and best wishes to you and R and all the kids.

My friend, you truly understand what I seek when I put the viewfinder up to my eye.

This world does seem to be getting more complicated, scary. Or perhaps I am falling into the trap that all men fall into as they get older and it’s just my perception that has grown more complicated, scary. All the more reason for seeking out the largely “unnoticed artistic aesthetics” of everyday life.

My best to you and yours Greg.
