Gorgeous as always! I’ve been reading reviews on this lens and most say there is an inherent issue with this lens either front or back focusing. Have you found this to be true?
It does have this issue to some extent, but I think there are two additional issues that exacerbate the difficulty of accurately focusing this lens:
The limitations of the rangefinder mechanism, which needs to be well calibrated and even so is taxed by this lens (esp. on digital media where slight focus errors are easily revealed).
User error: the photographer’s eyesight and rangefinder focusing skills need to be exemplary.
For me, however, the reason I haven’t stayed with this lens (and indeed I haven’t) is related to a totally different issue: the newer Leica lenses are better at capturing light and reproducing colour under challenging conditions.
