Just beautiful, Peter. Is it me or does this lens/CCD sensor combination have a particularly pleasing aesthetic in food/beverage photography?
Hahaha, thanks Chris. I don’t know about food/beverage photography specifically but the combo seems to do well with just about anything 😉
Ahh that coffee looks good – never mind that it is good photography – good use of contrast to simplify and make me want to drink that coffee!
My favourite of your coffee series. I like the insider feel to watching the coffee making. I was asked to take a couple of shots for a friend of mine, a coffee addict and barista. Not that easy with the poor light and unfamiliar location. M9 + 35 lux I believe. https://manmakecoffee.com/2016/09/19/humans-of-coffee-bilbo-steyn/
I like the image you photographed Guy! And yes the lighting in these places is tricky – which is one reason I often opt for B&W conversion!
