I absolutely agree with your M9 comment. I love the convenience of a DSLR and your D810 photos are wonderful, but I definitely prefer your M9 photos.
I’ve gone back and looked again at your baseball pictures from last summer and there is just something I prefer. Granted, a 300mm lens on an M9 would be a nightmare. The color on picture of your Mom just jumps out at me.
Now “out with it”….what is coming???
John, check your email (but don’t expect an answer to your last sentence 😉 ).

A nice Mother’s Day portrait, Peter, with Mom seemingly doing what Moms do: Driving someone, somewhere, for something!!
Appreciate it my Edmonton brother from another mother.
NOTHING Comes close to a M(other) 😀 9 times as good as the others…. Peter without your M(other) this blog would probably Not exist hmmm…
Thanks Andreas. You’re probably right.
As much as I like the D810 sensor, there is still something about that M9 CCD that just… shines.
I hope people keep signing my Open Letter to Leica: https://prosophos.com/2013/11/16/an-open-letter-to-leica/
But even if they don’t, something is coming… 😉
