Taking a break.

2015, Favourite, Inspiration, Leica M9(P)/M-E (CCD Lives!), Portrait, Street, Undisclosed Lens #2

During our evening walk.

This image was taken as a test shot.

In all the years I’ve photographed, there’s only been one lens I regretted selling (and I’ve bought and sold many!).

It’s this one.

It’s not exotic and it’s not fancy, but I regretted selling it the moment I did.

I finally have it again.

(Before anybody asks:  My apologies, but I’m not telling… I want to try it out on film as well.)

This is the only(!) information I’ll disclose Andrew :

        • it’s not the Nokton 40.

        • I bought this lens new when I first owned it, but they no longer make it.

        • owners tend to keep it so unfortunately it can be difficult to find one in nice condition.

Actually I think your first undisclosed lens is a Komura 105mm f2 LTM or the 105/f3.5 LTM version. I suppose it depends which Leica lens hood you are using as a price reference. Good fun this guessing game!

My guess for the undisclosed #2 is the SA 21/3.4…I’m eager to see more examples, whatever it is its nice to see your “posting mojo” is back.
