I simply love the photo, and there isn’t much to say after that!
There are a few technical thoughts that have entered my mind (Father, forgive me, for I have had technical thoughts about a photograph). Firstly, this is one example of where a digital image is not as rich as a film image would probably be. Though we both know that digital can almost match film in some cases (see Mark’s photo of Baby J in the bath). Secondly, if one had a choice, one would step back and use a longer focal length. The apparent distance between her arms is slightly distracting.
If you ever get a chance to play with the new Monochrom, which is allegedly due soon, I’d like to know your thoughts about it.
