So that’s a congratulations due event, yes? If I recall correctly, you’d sold your M3 some time ago, so this is a new one, yes? Truly, the heart of the Leica matter.
Yes, I’m following my heart again. Greg, if I recall correctly, you lamented the sale of that M3. Hopefully I’ve learned my lesson. I’m really taken by this one, for what it’s worh. Just shot a roll of “test shots”, which include this image.
…if only there was SOMEONE you could thank for pushing you in the right direction.
🙂
A nice image. I do like the treatment of the 400CN here. Very pleasing grain. You appear to have hit on a suitable mix of variables.
Oh…
And welcome back.
-M.
Yes, yes, I know Mr. Edmonton. I will pay you a greater compliment than the one you’re fishing for, however: it wasn’t so much that you pushed (although you did “pester”), it was that you continuously inspired me through your soulful images.
I don’t fish…
I pester.
Apparently.
(so hurtful!)
🙂
In actual fact, it was you that started in all off in the first place.
Regardless, it is good to see you back where you belong…whatever part I may have played in that.
(But thank you, nonetheless, Peter).
You should consider doing more shots like these and then find a good stock photography house that would be able to market these.
Thanks Jim. I suppose I could, but I occasionally have sales through this site (in fact, I had two agencies contact me in the last two weeks).
Nice pick up Peter. Moving back to the M3 a great move and will be really interested in how you are feeling attached to this over the M-Peter (now you’ve committed to it….again :-)…..). Picked up my camera for first time in long time this weekend. Was nice to take some photos again.
I’m happy to learn you are photographing again Andy. Welcome back.
Cool picture. Did you take it?
Thanks. Yes, I took it just over a day ago.
