Nice shot. A little cropping could help, but I can crop with my mind’s eye. 😉 You know, those shoes suit your girls rather well. I mean, if little chickas are going to wear shoes on stage, what else is there!
The shoes are my wife’s doing. She always strikes the right balance between practicality and showmanship.
As for cropping, I tried that. The resulting image looked less “stage-like” and more crowded. The negative space is as part of the scene as they are, so it turns out my original instinct was correct.
Wonderful! The shy little pink Prince framed by two delightful angels…the long shirt is so cute. Peter, to be the King of ISO must be a good feeling, isn´t it 🙂 …can you please tell us the ISO-setting here…
Dear Andreas, this was photographed at ISO f/2, 1/250, ISO 1600.
When I was using my M9/M-E/M8, I would have photographed the same scene with either of these settings:
f/1.4, 1/250, ISO 640 (640 was better than 800 for the M9, and I could “push” more in post-processing).
