it did help me a lot with my own photography, my M6 was my first film camera in 20 years and the entry drug to the Leica world 🙂
20 years ago I bought my first Leica. The M6TTL. Don’t I could ever give it up. Every day film images keep on surprising me.. You are right Peter..these film images show us the way!
Its still the benchmark, a mature technology.
I agree. Easy to feel adrift in the digital possibilities without the anchor real film photography provides. Plus I do also agree that there is something in the organic process of film that give the photo a special authenticity.
