An impromptu photo shoot with M, and a Leica M testing session.

This is fantastic, I really like her look and the out of focus area. I suppose you can make the M work for you.
I suppose I can. It’s too early to tell, but if I can consistently wring out this sort of colour, I’ll be more than pleased.
Ahhh….the return of the 50 lux…..inevitable 🙂
Actually like the colours in this Peter. Perhaps the exposure and lighting available seems to have “cooled” this slightly?!
I am really pleased with the colour here, though it took some work.
And yes, I should have mentioned that this was also a testing session for the 50 ‘lux ASPH.
Nice! I love the rendering of the 50 mm Summilux, that I have owned proudly since a few months. It is worth its (high) price… Its only flaw is that it is bulkier than the 50 mm Summicron, and hence less discreet for street photography.
FWIW, this shot looks like it was taken with a diffused flash. Which means that there is nothing wrong with it, I guess, but I can’t say I love it, either. I don’t like that flash look, and the only excuse anyone has for using it is if they are a press photographer.

Nice portrait (no surprise). Beautiful colors. Overall…..M-azing. Keep doing what your doing and thank you for educating all of us along the way.
Thank you Karen. It’s people like you that keep me wanting to share.
I concur with the greenish tone comment in the last post, which I didn’t see it in the D800e pictures.
I have S2. It’s amazing.
Now, I am “Leica Monochrome + S2 Combo”. It works really good for me. Of course, you have many other concerns. Hope it helps.

No flash was used.
