Peter, a beautiful capture by the Leica M9,, filled with emotion expressed through the eyes and eye contact.
Perhaps with the f1.4, it might have been an April Fool’s hoax after all. 🙂
Happy 1.4 .2014
Is it April Fools’ Day today?
we’ve been had….:) good one.
Have you been had?
This is a clever image Peter. Lots of profiles yet Honey steals the show…again!
Ahhhh!… we’re discussing images again. Thank you Andrew!
Gear…amazing how it builds momentum! But images is what is “really” important. It’s what adds the enjoyment, emotion and memories to our lives….
Though I could see you shedding a tear or raising a contemplative smile over your M9 as you hold it ;-)…..
Well said Andy! We can all get a little preoccupied with the gear, indeed!
What does it matter what this guy is using as an image making tool? What really matters is what’s in-between his ears and not what’s in his tool bag. One needs to identify oneself with the content and context of the images, and not which camera one has chosen to use. Otherwise it kind of becomes akin to wearing clothing with corporate logos or something. This gear stuff is getting all way too tedious these days. Hopefully it’ll burn itself out eventually.
Fabulous picture. Perfect timing. Much to see and discover but the emotion of the connection between the lady and Honey is what makes the picture so strong for me. Unconditioned love.
