The decisive moment….as far as a beer drinker is concerned!
And he’s not even a beer drinker! More of a red wine man.
Is that “The Last Supper” in the background??
Hopefully that was not an ironic element of dark foreboding. (He made it home alright?)
😉
Anyway, Cheers! and Happy Birthday–I wish you many more.
(I heartily endorse this photo, and the beer.)

Very perceptive (that is, indeed, “The Last Supper”).
And he was already home, so don’t worry.
Très cher Peter,
I just celebrated the 70th anniversary of my father … so I understand and I particularly like this picture!
You know, oh, it is important for me to photograph people who are dear to me … specially those who are far from home … my father … my mother!
As soon as the opportunity arises for me … ie, quickly! I will raise a glass of French wine to the health of your father … and your whole family!
I think many of you my friend!
Hugues.
Happy 70th birthday to your father dear Hugues! And thank you for your kind words.
