Love this photo. Beautiful with it’s shadows that hints of Honey’s well-being.
Thank you. It was a tender moment, lit by a tender light.
Hi Peter,
As you are posting more recent images with the M9, does this mean your heart is back with the M9, rather than the 240?
Hi Daryl.
Yes, I’m back with the M9, and my M240 was sold (and, as this image shows, I’m back with my 24 Summilux too).
The M240 simply cannot do what the M9 does so well. I’m posting another image of the same scene tomorrow and the subtle tones of the M9, combined with its delicate colour palette, are truly something to behold.
I couldn’t coax the same tonal transitions out of the M240 because they simply weren’t there.
Delicately, lovely & intimately made.
Love this photo Peter. So many aspects to it that I like. All comes together well to create the moment.
beautiful!
Thank you Michael, Andrew, and Luiz. Thank you also for signing the “Open Letter to Leica…“
Fantastic site. Plenty of useful info here. I am sending it to some friends ans also sharing in delicious. And of course, thanks on your effort!
I repeat myself: the M9 really does make nice b&w images. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
