Peter, very nice. The colors are exquisite. Like you I’m not giving up the M9. I have just two lenses the 50 Lux and the 35 Lux, version II. I love both but am very partial to the 35, leaving it on my camera most of the time. You can check out my images at: http://www.facebook.com/mybookslooks

Thank you George…. and I’ll check out your images as soon as I can.
Ahh….the light!!
Such a beautiful picture. Lovely light, shadow and shades.
Thank you Andrew and Preeti.
Peter.
Although a lot if images in 2013 are in B&W these days (due to the MM), I still love the color versions! Beautiful!
Thank you Jeroen. My M9 is by my side, so do not worry, there will be more colour images! I appreciate your honest comment.
I think I could live a lifetime with an M9 and that 50mm lens.
I would have to agree with you Cory.
Peter – I have to make an assumption that when you show your wife these types of images the cost of the gear is forgotten and the both of you smile.
Well Bob,
My wife isn’t in this image, but she’s still smiling…
Absolutely spectacular.
Thank you Mr. Barnat. I hope that M-E is treating you well.
I love it, Peter. And, if I’m the first to admit this, so be it, but I canceled my pre-order for the M 240. Did that just yesterday. Months and months, even in Steve Huff’s hands, I haven’t seen one image that shows me anything I want. Anything at al like this image here, for instance. By now we should be gasping at the images from this new camera.
The increased DR? All I’m seeing something that looks like putting a downward hook on the top end of the curves tool in Photoshop. Okay, it’s not blown white, it’s blown yellow. lol. I’ll gamble with $695, but I’m not going to gamble with $6995. And of course, I live being able to say this not on my own Leica-inspired blog. 😉

Enjoy your vacation!
Well, you know my view on the matter.

Thanks, Donald, for your appreciation of this image…
Peter.
I am amazed by the rich colour and beautiful light. That’s CCDs for you! Damned things. 😉
