Very nice Peter. The connection between all three people (son?maybe…close friend and you as the photographer) is like a chain. I know it sounds a bit corny perhaps. However there was something about this image I could not quite put my finger on and I think after some thinking it was that. There are 3 parties to this all connected in different ways!

And you are correct, the chain in this image is comprised of three links.
But what people seldom realize is that — in all photographs — the photographer ALWAYS represents one of the links, whether we’re discussing people images, or landscape images, or anything else.
