While this is not family, at least not yours, or even human, still it is one of life’s little moments just the same and captured, in my mind anyway, with just that touch of dreaminess …
Anyway, I think it proves that a decisive connection between action and composition can be captured in a field as well as on a city street or in the living room. And not to go all “flickr” on you, but beyond the light, the Portra pallet, the diagonals, and all, my favorite thing is that lone tree on the horizon and at frame’s edge that gives it its scale and just a hint of loneliness.
I guess this one isn’t a popular one Greg, though I actually like it quite a bit. Thanks for the appreciation, and the detailed commentary.
