The beginning of himself.

Film, Inspiration, Leica M3, Portrait, Voigtländer 40mm f/1.4 Nokton

He wanted to recover something, some idea of himself perhaps, that had gone… His life had been confused and disordered since then, but if he could once return to a certain starting place and go over it all slowly, he could find out what that thing was.”

  1. Peter,

i hope to have understound well … But, what i am sure, it is that this ” Little child “, with his glance, will become and is now a ” Magical photographer “….
    Respectfully .

    1. I remember reading “The Great Gatsby” when I was a teenager and being awed by the prose… such craftsmanship of words and sentences. F.Scott Fitzgerald, the author, was influenced by Joseph Conrad… probably the most amazing wordsmith in the English language (whose native tongue wasn’t even English!).

  2. Totally agree with Hughes and Jeroen. Very inspirational quote that matches so nicely with the image. Our “magical photographer ” is not only a great photographer but also an artist who is able to convey an important message to others. Thanks, thanks , thanks.
