Every year, I try to choose my favourite images.
The process is rather arbitrary, and is heavily influenced by emotional considerations. Weeks later, I often look at my choices and second guess them.
Having said that, these are my favourite 25 photos from the past year.

some very nice work there. i especially like 1, 3, 4, 11, and 23. but i can recall a number of other shots from you over the last few months i like as much, also.
it really is hard to make selections like this–kudos for going ahead and doing it.
btw, i wish i could find the exif (or really just the lens used) for these photos. or at any rate, i am curious about number 24–which lens that was made with.
but i don’t in any way mean to focus on the technical details of what are clearly wonderful photos regardless.
Beautiful……I discovered your blog last night while searching (naively) for someone with a 60mm Hex f/1.2 for sale!!! I’ve just spent a most enjoyable 20 mins looking at your finest from 2011, just wonderful photography.
